Since 2021, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Golden Goose Events, and over the past few years, I’ve been fully in charge of coordinating all our teams at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, one of the most dynamic and inspiring events in the world of technology and innovation.
Being born and raised in Barcelona, this project holds a special place in my heart. I know the city inside out—its rhythm, its people, and its spirit. This local insight helps me anticipate needs, solve challenges quickly, and make sure that every part of the operation runs smoothly.
What makes this event particularly fascinating is how each client we represent has very specific needs, and it’s our job to reflect that through the staff we select and train. For example, some clients require a more senior team capable of generating leads and engaging in meaningful conversations with visitors.
We’ve also been working for many years with Intel, whose activations focus on surveys and public interaction. For them, I select team members who are outgoing, approachable, and confident—people who aren’t afraid to start conversations and engage directly with attendees.
Then there’s Android, another long-standing client, who always looks for young, energetic, and multicultural teams that can embody the vibrancy of the brand and create a welcoming atmosphere.

Finding the right people for each brand—matching personalities, skills, and energy levels—is one of the most exciting and challenging aspects of managing MWC. Every team is unique, every activation is different, and that’s what keeps the work so rewarding year after year.
At Golden Goose Events, we make sure our staff are well-prepared, well-presented, and supported throughout the event. They receive detailed briefings and on-site guidance, all contributing to that special GG team spirit that makes a difference.
The Mobile World Congress isn’t just a project to me; it’s a yearly reminder of how powerful teamwork, adaptability, and passion can be.
Bringing together people from all over the world to represent global brands in my hometown is something I’m truly proud of.
